Google mostly prefers long content. The preferred content length is 700 to 1000 words. But, it's not necessary that if you write 1000 words article then it will rank first in Google SERP. First of all, It depends on the topic you are writing your SEO article about, and second of all, the Quality of your article. I would recommend you to write 600 to 1000 words articles and also contain more quality information on these articles. Content Quality and length both play important roles in Google ranking factors. But length without information is just useless and may be dangerous for your site.
Content quality can be increased by adding well-researched information, data statistics, or a good amount of readability. All these things will increase the quality of your article.
And, the most important thing that you should check before publishing any content is to verify the content plagiarism. If your content is plagiarized then you cant rank on google because google hates plagiarized content.
So check the content plagiarism and length by yourself. By doing this you can increase your blog traffic easily.
